FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS THE EVANS NETWORK OF COMPANIES (ENOC)?

From humble beginnings in 1939, The Evans Network has grown to be a leader in transportation and logistics in North America. With the support of our customers and in conjunction with our agents, truck owners and drivers, The Evans Network operates across the United States providing multi-modal solutions — container drayage (largest provider in the U.S.), full truckload and open deck.

WHAT ARE THE TRACTOR AND TRAILER EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS, INCLUDING AGE?

Both tractors and trailers must be 2000 or newer. They must also pass a DOT inspection at an ENOC approved facility.

I DON’T HAVE MY OWN TRAILER. DOES ENOC PROVIDE ME WITH ONE?

ENOC partners with the top trailer leasing companies in the industry and can secure a rental trailer for pickup once you’re leased on with us as an Owner Operator.

ARE ELECTRONIC LOGGING DEVICES REQUIRED BY ENOC?

Yes, all tractors must operate using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) unless an exception is granted by our Safety Department.

WHAT/HOW DO I GET PAID AS AN ENOC OWNER OPERATOR?

ENOC offers a percentage of billed line haul revenue which gets paid weekly through an EFS card or direct deposit.

HOW LONG IS THE ONBOARDING PROCESS?

This is up to you! We have a simplified 4-part driver and tractor qualification process (1. Driver Document Collection 2. Employment Verification 3. Drug & Alcohol Testing) 4. Tractor sign-on process (Truck Document Collection & DOT inspection). The sooner you can send us your documents and complete your pre-employment drug test, the sooner you can be up and running.

WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED TO START MY QUALIFICATION PROCESS?

We will need a copy of your SS card, the front and back of your CDL, a copy of your medical card, and the front of your TWIC card (if applicable).

WHAT TRUCK DOCUMENTS WILL YOU NEED FROM ME?

If you’re going to participate in our plate rental program, we’ll need a copy of the front and back of your title, the current year 2290 and a passing DOT inspection from an ENOC approved facility.

If you use your own plates, we’ll need a copy of the current registration and a passing DOT inspection from an ENOC approved facility.

WHEN AND WHERE IS ENOC’S ORIENTATION?

Our qualification process is completely remote, but you are welcome to stop by our corporate offices in various locations at any time!

ARE ANY SPECIFIC ENDORSEMENTS REQUIRED ON MY CDL?

ENOC doesn’t require any specific endorsements. However, there are some opportunities that may require a Hazmat endorsement. Also, if you’re intending to run containers, the specific opportunity may require you to have a TWIC card.

I’M A FLEET OWNER WITH MULTIPLE TRUCKS. WILL ENOC ALLOW ME TO BRING MULTIPLE TRUCKS ONBOARD?

Yes, ENOC accepts Fleet Owners with multiple trucks.

DOES ENOC OFFER A $0 DOWN LEASE PURCHASE PROGRAM?

ENOC is 100% owner operator based, and we do not have any equipment available for lease.
